A Word About The Derf West Coast Tour

Mrs G. hasn't mentioned hitting the road to meander the West Coast  the last two weeks of September and conclude her 2011 Derfwad Summer Tour, because she is in a holding pattern. Including her own $400 contribution, she raised $3300 for the 35 days she spent on the road in June/July. Amazingly, she came home with $34 to spare. She lived on a tight budget and, along with the kindness of others, had one of the best times of her life, truly.

She is in a holding pattern because she and Mr. G. are waiting to see if he gets his yearly bonus. If he does, all systems go. If he doesn't Mrs. G. is going to have to push the date a bit because this blog only generates love and laughter, lots and lots of laughter.

Anyway, she'll keep you posted.

Mrs. G. needs a few days unwinding at home before she can even begin to reflect on various aspects of the trip and what they meant to her. While she simmers in the aftermath, she wonders if you have any questions about her loopy voyage. She only asks because nearly everywhere she went, derfs leaned in closely and whispered, "Are you really having fun?" or "Have you met any serious weirdos?" or "Are you lonely?"

Ask her anything. Mrs. G. will spill.

Last Call, Minneapolis...Mrs. G. is Headed for Home

Mrs. G. apologizes for the abrupt change in schedule (especially to Becky), but duty calls. Today marks a month on the road and Mrs. G. is itching to hug her husband and catch her son's latest performance in West Side Story. She's going to try and get home a couple of days early.

Mrs. G. pulls into Minneapolis tomorrow so if you are in the area, please join her at a meet up on Wednesday night, July 18th at Nye's (Named the Best Bar in America) around 6:30. She really hopes to see you there!

P.S. She's heading out at dawn on the 19th and driving across North Dakota and Montana. She hasn't had much response from these states, but if you are in the area (SewSew?) and want to try and catch breakfast/lunch/dinner off the freeway, email her at mrs.ggggggggggggggg at gmail dot com and let's try to make it work.
