As Mrs. G. sits and watches the latest Republican debate, she can't understand the enthusiasm, rally cries and applause for less government financial regulation when we are still suffering the backwash of the devil-may-care, who's watching the store deregulation that resulted in taxpayers coughing up $700 billion to the banksters less than four years ago.

And just where are all these janitor jobs?

We need a legitimate third party, run by cats or librarians. Maybe knitters.

Mrs. G. misses her old Slow Cook Thursdays. There is little she likes more about social networking than the actual social and networking part.

So in an effort to maintain tried and true connections and perhaps forge new ones here and there, she thought she'd throw open her blog each weekend to create a communal spot where you derfs can give yourselves a shout out, share your wealth.
