 I Have a Dream Declaration of Independence Flag Print

From Beautiful, antique looking poster professionally printed from original acrylic painting on artist's panel by Caitlin Dundon. This flag poster has Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I have a dream" speech excerpt on alternating lines with an excerpt from the Declaration of Indepence on a background design of a 1776 American flag. Text is as follows:

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and love out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal"...I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today. - Martin Luther King, Jr., August 28, 1963.

I have a dream....only it is for the disabled folks among us. If I own this I'd hang it at the local AID (Association for Individual Development) center (where I hope there will be space for my son with autism when he ages out of public school next year.)

Women's rights.....Civil Rights.....now rights for Gay/Lesbians and for the disabled! There will always be someone who needs a dream fulfilled!

The artwork is really beautiful ... I grew up in Atlanta and went with my Dad to MLK's funeral. We parked about a 1/2 mile from Ebenezer and waited for the procession to pass by us so that we could join in. I will never, ever forget the sight of that mule-pulled wagon coming over a hill with thousands upon thousands of mourners following. We walked the three and a half miles through the streets of Atlanta to Morehouse College in virtual silence ...
